Amplification sent overseas is not returnable under any circumstaces unless damaged upon arrival. ALL dealers will be charged restocking fee on returns for any reason due the the common practice of reselling. The restocking fees will be waived if the instrument is damaged. Upon receipt of the merchandise, a refund (less shipping and any other applicable fees) will be issued within 48 hours, subject to a 5% restocking fee. Returned merchandise must be shipped fully insured at the customer’s cost and in it’s original condition. Please call or email for return authorization before shipping any merchandise back. Just the same, if you find out that the guitar or gear doesn’t work for you, you can return it within 48 hours. We do not negotiate price after the sale. With installment / layaway / deposit agreements all sales are final, no returns, no refunds and no exceptions. A 10% non refundable deposit will hold any guitar for 30 days. Andy Baxter Bass has the right to withdraw from any agreement and re list the item if payments are not made on the agreed dates. Within the first month a 5% fee is applied. A further 10% will be added each consecutive month thereafter. If the customer fails to do so or pulls out of an agreed deal after 1 month has elapsed from the date of the first payment, 10% of the agreed sale price is non refundable. No headstock break or repair!! This is the finest and cleanest Gibson Thunderbird I've seen with only one ding to the body (front of lower bout on the edge directly in line with the E string!) All original and complete other than the added strap button ( 1 original button remains in its original position 1 strap lock button in a second position at the neck and another at the butt end) Through neck construction with reverse body shape. According to the production records online only 91 Black Thunderbirds were made in 1976! This bass comes with the original case and metal covers( also in excellent condition with no issues) Also included are the Gibson certificate given to the original dealer which was Maynards Music, Albuquerque, Oct 18 1977, the original owners receipts guitar lead. Original Black finish with very few marks. A serial number starting with 00 was made in 1976 and one starting with 06 was made in 1977.Vintage 1976 Gibson Thunderbird in excellent plus condition. You can tell which year a Thunderbird was made by its serial number. Most of the production was actually in 1977 due to the fact that it took them a long time to ramp up production in 1976 and had to carry it over to 1977 in order to fill their dealers orders.
